During the "Guinea Bissau Sustainable Energy International Conference" organized by ALER with the partners support, will take place 6 and 7 of December 2017 in Bissau, Guina Bissau, ALER will lauch the Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency in Guinea Bissau - National Status Report.

During the conference "Renewables in the electrification of Mozambique" organized by ALER with the support from RECP, which took place 25-26 October 2017 in Maputo, Mozambique, ALER launched the 2nd edition of the “Renewables in Mozambique – National Status Report”.

The "Briefing: Renewables in Mozambique 2022" is a document that compiles and organises the most relevant and current information of the renewable energy market in Mozambique. The latest edition of the Brief was launched on December 7th, during the "Business Conference - Renewables in Mozambique 2022". 

The Briefing: Renewables in Mozambique 2021 was released during the Europe-Mozambique Investment Forum. This document compiles and organizes the most relevant and up-to-date information on the renewable energy market in Mozambique.

These market overviews aim to provide a brief overview of the renewable energy sector in the PALOP countries and list the main existing or planned programs and projects. They work as a summary of ALER's reports and priviledged information that ALER has access.

In Porto Novo, in the Santo Antão island, was implemented a desalination plant in 2021, with the support of Águas de Porto Novo, in a public-private partnership between the Government of Cape Verde, the Municipality of Porto Novo and Águas de Ponta Preta.

In Planalto Norte, in the Santo Antão region, was implemented a Photovoltaic Solar System in January 2019, with the support of the Associação de Defesa de Mértola and co-financed by the Center for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency, Camões – Institute for Cooperation and Language, amoung otheres.

In Bambadinca, in the Bafatá region, was implemented a mini-power grid in July 2015, with the support of TESE – Development Association, the Directorate General of Energy, the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, among others.

In the regions of Bafatá, Gabú, Quinara and Tombali, were implemented homemade Solar Photovoltaic Systems in 2011, with the support of the Foundation Rural Energy Services and financed by subvention from the European Commission

Dedicated to the 2nd CPLP Energy Conference and featuring a special section on the 4th CPLP Energy and Climate Seminar, the third edition of the Energy and Climate in the CPLP brings together several articles on cooperation among Portuguese-speaking countries and the joint development of a shared strategy towards just, sustainable and inclusive energy transitions within the CPLP space.

Dedicated to the 2nd and 3rd Energy and Climate Seminar of the CPLP and featuring a special section on COP29, the second edition of the "Energy and Climate in the CPLP" magazine brings together different articles on energy transition and climate finance in the CPLP Member States.

Dedicated to the 1st CPLP Energy and Climate Seminar, the first edition of “Energy and Climate in the CPLP” brings together different articles on climate finance mechanisms for accelerating the energy transition in CPLP Member States.
